080 Barcelona Fashion

Este lunes empieza la séptima edición del 080 Barcelona Fashion, desde su edición piloto celebrada en julio de 2007, ha ido creciendo y consolidándose hasta el punto de ocupar un espacio en el circuito de la moda independiente y convertirse en una cita ineludible de la moda y del diseño de vanguardia, transformando Barcelona en un escaparate de primer orden a escala mundial de las nuevas tendencias catalanas e internacionales.

Como estudiante de moda tengo la oportunidad de asistir a varios defiles que se celebrarán este año, así que estad atentos sino os queréis perder ningún detalle =)

This monday begins the seventh edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion an event that has been growing in size and importance since the pilot show in July 2007, carving out a place for itself on the independent fashion circuit and becoming an obligatory date for leading-edge fashion and design. 080 Barcelona Fashion transforms Barcelona into a world class stage for showcasing new Catalan and international trends.

As a fashion student I have the opportunity to attend some of the shows to be held this year, so stay tuned if you don't want to miss any detail =)

Como os comenté en una entrada anterior está semana tiene lugar The Brandery en Barcelona, así que ayer me fuí a dar una vuelta con mis amigas a ver con que nos encontramos. La verdad es que a mi me sorprendió un poco ya que se veia un poco pobre ya que no había ni la mitad de expositores que en la pasada edición, pero bueno por otro lado me quedo con los desfiles que iban teniendo lugar a diferentes horas de la tarde.

As I told told you in a previous post this week takes place The Brandery in Barcelona so yesterday I went for a walk with my friends to see what was going on. The truth is that I was a bit surprised because it looked a bit poor and not had even half of exhibitors al last year, but on the other hand I prefer the shows that were taking place at different times in the afternoon.

Pasada la Navidad ya hay quién empieza a pensar en el verano, el sol y el calor. Un ejemplo de ello son los diseñadores ya que ya están empezando a lanzar sus campañas publicitarias para la primavera y el verano 2011.

Voy a empezar con esta colorida campaña de Mulberry (¡¡adoro sus bolsos!!) con las modelos Lindsey Wixson y Nimue Smit fotografiada por Tim Walker. 

Christmas is already over and some people are beginning of summer, sun and the beach. An example of this are the designers whom are starting to lunch their spring and summer ad campaigns of 2011.

I'll will start with Mulberry's (I adore their bags) campaign which is a colorful affair with models Lindsey Wixson and Nimue Smit surrounded in a room of flowers and sunlight shooting by Tim Walker.

El otro día mi hermana me paso este super video con una de mis canciones favoritas. Las imágenes también son muy bonitas: jóvenes de California aprendiendo a patinar. Me encanta!

The otehr day my sister sended me this amazing video with one of my favourites songs ever. The images are beautiful, some kids from California learning to skate. I love it!

Hace un par de días salieron estos fotos de Blake Lively y Florene Welch (Florence and The Machine) saliendo de una fiesta en Las Vegas.

Todo el mundo está hablando de los maravillosos pantalones de Isabel Marant que lleva Blake pero que me decís del super conjunto de que lleva la cantante. ¿No os gusta mucho más? Yo (100% pro Blake) tengo que admitir que en esta ocasión me quedo con Florence y su chaqueta.
